Hi, I'm Pam Johnson Grantham, and I write children's books as P.D. Grantham.
I didn't set out to become an author. By day I help plan, design, and build, and for years that was my whole world. But somewhere along the way, a little dog named Teddy and a big imagination took over, and the Teddy & Friends collection was born.
It started simply. I began writing coloring books for my community, and what grew from that surprised even me: a whole world of characters, each with a home, a heart, and a lesson worth learning. Kindness. Courage. Belonging. Asking for help. Every Teddy & Friends story carries one, because I believe the books our children love should also help them grow.
My life is built on faith, family, service, creativity, and a little imagination. That's the spirit I pour into every page, and it's what I hope your family feels when they open one of Teddy's adventures.
